Jun-ichi KUSAKA
1962, Born in Yokohama, Japan. 1988, Received M.A at Tokyo
National University of Fine Arts.
1994, Exhibited threee artworks "Food, Clothing and Shelter"
at a group exhibition entitled
"Of the Human Condition" (Spiral/Wacoal Art Center,
Tokyo), and the same year, exhibited
only clothes artwork at a solo show at Kamakura Gallery, Tokyo.
Ever since, held many exhibitions
focused on clothing at art museums and galleried in Japan and
foreign countries. 1995, Formed an
artist unit named "ID BOUTIQUE" with apparel designers,
gave the name until 2004. From 2008
onward, many performances by wearing an illuminated whole suit
with LED lights at opening parties
of museums, and on the streets.
