Ten Shi Huu Hitsu
        Please
relax when you look at my works.
        As
        if real flowers were there.
        Then, you will see.
        I
make my works by adding a faintest "something"
        to the presence of flowers.
        Then,
between flowers and I, I feel something.
        Verberalization
is very difficult, but, if you also feel something
when you see my works, I will be very happy.

        "Ten shi huu hitsu"
If possible, I want to become a wind that draws lines on
        the sky as a large
        sheet of paper.
        -KOEDA
        Shigeaki
        -Overview-
KOEDA Shigeaki has begun to create the artworks which
combined painting and photograph since 1980.
His works are highly praised not only as photograph, but
        as contemporary art.

The title "ten shi huu hitsu" is cited from the
poem of the prince Ohtsu(Born in 663), the son of Emperor
        Tenmu,
        who was a highly-reputated poet.
The poem describes his wish to create poems and drawings
        freely.

As the intention of this poem, Koeda wants to make his
        works freely.
The artist's wish is not people to see the works, not
even works to exist. Koeda wants to make a precious
and tender feeling when any two more things entrust each
        other.

This time, we exhibit the newest works from the series"Flower-Between
        eyes".
20-30 works are exhibited, including molding works.
Please enjoy the encounter of the artist
        with the flowers.
