SOBAJIMA Takashi "O-Ki-Ro, Ne-Ro"(Wake up and sleep)

SOBAJIMA Takashi was born in 1981. Last year his works were exhibited at the group exhibition
titled " Painting in Spring" in Kamakura Gallery. His works have several distinguishing characteristics
which are compositions that were sinmplified , thick paints covered the canvas, vivid colors, and etc.
The motif of his works are very near affairs of our ordinary life. In 2005, He won the award Tokyo Wonder
Wall Prize. In 2007, his works were praised in "VOCA" exhibition and won the Encouragement Prize.
16 paintings of his new works are exhibited in this exhibition.
